Hey, I’m Des.

I’m a creative just like you, and I’ve spent more than a decade developing the knowledge and skills necessary to finance my creative life. I want to share what I’ve learned with my fellow creatives. I can help you maximize your money and build a strong financial foundation to achieve your personal and creative goals.

As a Money Coach I specialize in helping you to strengthen your financial situation in an intimate environment where we can discuss more than the numbers. When we talk about money emotions can come up and I’ve got you. I’m your “financial therapist”.

Armed with degrees in Business and Theatre and 10 years experience in non-profit arts administration, I took the leap to pursue my acting career full time. Eight years later, I’m still living my dream. I work for myself and I’m financially secure.

You pick the topics and we’ll work together to develop actionable steps for your unique needs during a 30-minute one-on-one online session.

Plus email support from day one through 30 days following your final session.

BOOKKEEPING

Whether you need help setting up your books, training, or full service monthly bookkeeping, I also offer these services for Quickbooks Online.

Training includes:

  • Customizing Quickbooks for your needs

  • Linking all bank and credit card information

  • Reviewing transactions and Reconciliation

  • Running Reports

IS MONEY COACHING RIGHT FOR ME?

  • As a Money Coach I offer education, tools, resources, encouragement, and accountability. Rather than telling clients what to do with their money, I give clients information, support, and tools so they can make their own money decisions.

  • Just like hiring a personal trainer or a private acting coach, a money coach meets you where you are. There is no “wrong” time to get financial coaching. During our FREE, confidential, discovery call we’ll be able to determine if I am the right coach to help you reach your goals. If not, I’m happy to refer you to other resources.

  • All session will meet via an online platform.

  • Absolutely! I maintain a strict confidentiality policy. Any information shared with me is confidential and will not be shared without your express written permission.

  • Life happens. Sessions can be rescheduled with 24 hours advanced notice a maximum of two times.

    If you are late to your scheduled meeting, you will not be able to make up that time during your session. It is advised that you get on the call early to ensure a good connection.  If you are more than 15-minutes late without prior notice, you forfeit your session and will not be eligible to make it up.

  • I am not. I’m a fellow creative who loves talking about, reading about, and learning about money and wants to share the insights I’ve learned and habits I’ve put in place in my life that have helped me build a strong financial foundation.

    Please note that I am not a certified financial planner (“CFP”) or a financial advisor and that nothing in our sessions constitutes legal or financial advice. Therefore, I am not legally allowed to tell you what to invest in, how to invest, or when to invest.

  • I accept payment through ACH Bank Transfers, Paypal, Zelle and Venmo. Payment is due prior to all sessions.
